Job summary

Idaho Milk Products is seeking a skilled Production Lead for our Main Plant in Jerome, Idaho. You will manage day-to-day production operations, lead a diverse team, and drive efficiency while maintaining quality and safety standards.

The role reports to the Production Supervisor and requires strong communication, problem solving, and teamwork. Day shifts with full-time employment and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in related fields such as Dairy science, Engineering, Business Management.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee sanitation activities to guarantee equipment cleanliness and periodic cleaning criteria are met.
• Ensure adherence to internal and regulatory requirements, maintaining high standards.
• Utilize statistical process control tools to monitor and adjust operating parameters.
• Complete designated Corrective Actions in a timely manner.
• Provide motivational leadership and clear direction to team.
• Lead SOPs, SSOPs, and Sanitation Program updates as needed.
• Deliver accurate inventory feedback to Logistics.
• Uphold safety SOPs per OSHA regulations.
• Coach and develop employees to foster positive relations.
• Cultivate a team-oriented and efficient staff for process improvements.
• Lead shift and plant meetings to communicate progress and solicit input.
• Ensure training and resources are provided for roles and responsibilities.
