Job summary

Swiss Premium Dairy is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift to oversee dairy manufacturing operations. You will provide direction to production staff, ensure workloads align with daily goals, and coordinate with maintenance to keep equipment running safely and efficiently.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and GMP compliance; you will monitor milk receiving, standardization, pasteurization, packaging and related processes, mentor team members, perform timekeeping reviews, and

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
2–5 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in dairy/food.
Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
Certification and/or license may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

Schedule, assign work, and provide clear direction to production employees to meet daily goals.
Monitor operations (milk receiving, standardizing, pasteurization, separating, freezing, filling, packaging) to ensure standards.
Monitor and coordinate equipment cleaning, sanitization and maintenance; arrange repairs as needed.
Promote safe work behaviors; conduct injury investigations and report to HR.
Supervise production scheduling to ensure appropriate quantities and varieties to fulfill orders.
Communicate with shift team; conduct meetings; complete performance evaluations and coaching.
