Job summary

Agropur is seeking a Process Specialist in Jerome, ID to help improve operating efficiencies in the production of cheese and whey ingredients. You will troubleshoot complex processes and collaborate with teams to implement improvements and corrective actions.

You will develop SOPs, work with ERP systems and QA policies, and engage with customers to support whey ingredients projects, including site visits and production trials.

Qualifications

Minimum three years of dairy processing experience (whey) preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Operations Management or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
Continuous Improvement mindset.
Willing to coordinate with customers and visit sites.

Responsibilities

Improve operating efficiencies in cheese and whey production.
Perform advanced troubleshooting on machines and processes.
Develop SOPs for production and cleaning.
Work with ERP for product disposition and formulation updates.
Ensure quality and food safety compliance.
Lead AOS activities and 90-day plan development.
