Job summary

Agropur is seeking a Whey Technologist to support the operation of whey stream processes and to optimize yields for high‑value ingredients. You will maintain manufacturing standards while meeting customer expectations and driving improvements for the future.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a relevant field and at least 3 years of dairy processing experience, with preferred dairy plant or lab exposure. You will collaborate across teams, analyze data, and contribute to new formulations and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of dairy ingredients processing experience.
• Experience in a dairy plant and/or laboratory preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Improve quality and/ or efficiency of unit operations for whey/dairy ingredients.
• Collaborate to develop new systems for whey/dairy production.
• Revise or create reports for yielding, lab data analysis, and process trends.
• Perform statistical analysis of laboratory and process data to identify trends.
• Identify improvement areas and execute plans to resolve issues.
• Coordinate with plant, corporate and external resources to resolve production issues.
• Measure microbial quality and resolve related issues.
• Maintain procedures for whey production, operation, and training.
• Engage with Quality Assurance for disposition decisions.
• Work with sales and customers; visit customers as needed.
• Collaborate with product development and ingredient sales on new formulations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in whey processing.
• Collaborate with Technical Services and R&D on projects.
