Job summary

California Dairies, Inc. (CDI) is seeking a Training Specialist to partner with the corporate training manager and site leaders to develop and implement training programs, standards, documentation, and tools for the local manufacturing site.

The role ensures site-specific training processes are established, improved, followed, and maintained, including operator training, skill-gap identification, and sustainable documentation. Reports to the corporate training manager.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to apply common sense and follow written or oral instructions.
• Discretion handling sensitive information and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement operator training programs at the local site.
• Coordinate on-the-job training for new and transferred employees.
• Document work instructions and training materials with cross-functional teams.
• Support training projects and initiatives to drive skills development.
• Maintain training records, certifications, and retraining history.
• Ensure compliance with SQF/QA, GMP, and safety policies.
