Job summary

Select Milk Producers in Littlefield, TX is seeking a sanitation-focused team member to support plant sanitation and food safety initiatives. You will work with operations to execute sanitation plans, HACCP-related tasks, and audits, ensuring compliance with GMP standards.

Responsibilities include following the Master Sanitation Schedule, cleaning production areas, assisting in equipment cleaning, participating in Pest Control, and training related to sanitation and food safety.

Qualifications

• A High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS).
• Clean and maintain all walls, ceilings, floors, pipes and miscellaneous fixtures as required.
• Assist in the cleaning of all processing equipment.
• Help with the Pest Control program by alerting Pest Control Service of any sightings.
• Assist in GMP / Sanitation Audits.
• Learn the usage and application of different cleaning compounds and sanitizers utilized at the plant to ensure chemical management program is in compliance.
• Participate in training related to Sanitation and Food Safety.
• Solid working knowledge of operations and corresponding systems.
• Assist in the maintenance of sanitation requirements and related training.
• Perform wastewater sampling and analysis as directed by Environmental Health and Safety Supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
