Job summary

Select Milk Producers is seeking a Plant Operator to support receiving, separators, HTST, evaporators, butter, dryer, and packaging operations at our Texas plant. You will help maintain sanitary conditions and document processes to ensure product quality.

Responsibilities include monitoring cleanup and CIP logs, training new staff, enforcing GMP and safety procedures, and assisting with equipment maintenance and production flow.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Forklift Operator License or ability to acquire one.
• Sampler’s License or ability to acquire one.
• Ability to perform essential duties in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate receiving, separators, HTSTs, evaporators, load outs, butter operation, dryer and packaging.
• Monitor chemical use during cleanup, CIP logs, and maintain sanitation records.
• Keep work areas clean and sanitary; follow GMP and safety rules.
• Inform supervisors of problems and follow instructions.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and preventative tasks as needed.
• Support multiple departments when staffing is short.
