Job summary

Associated Milk Producers Inc (AMPI) seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to support six Midwest plants. You will maintain and repair production equipment, perform preventive maintenance on motors and conveyors, and ensure food safety and product quality through adherence to EH&S programs.

Requires a High School diploma and related technical training; 1–2 years of mechanical maintenance in dairy manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; degree or technical training preferred.
  • Associate degree or trade certificate in a related technical field.
  • 1–2 years of mechanical maintenance experience in food manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair plant equipment to ensure safety and production efficiency.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors, and production machinery.
  • Follow Environmental, Health, and Safety programs and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Train production workers on routine maintenance.
  • Keep work areas clean and manage parts inventory.
