Job summary

Associated Milk Producers Inc. in Sanborn, IA is seeking an Installation, Maintenance & Repair Craft Worker to maintain plant equipment, respond quickly to maintenance issues and support safe, efficient production.

This on-site, full-time role requires a high school diploma or GED, an associate degree or trade certificate, and 1–2 years of mechanical maintenance experience; dairy industry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or trade school certificate/diploma in a related technical field.
• 1–2 years of skilled mechanical maintenance experience.
• Prior maintenance experience in food manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support to ensure safety, product integrity and production efficiency.
• Respond to maintenance issues promptly and resolve problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors and production machines.
• Observe and follow Environmental, Health, and Safety procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and tool accountability in work areas.
• Train production workers on routine preventive maintenance.
• Adhere to GMP, food safety, and safety policies.
