The role emphasizes safety, preventative maintenance, and timely repairs to protect product integrity and production efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus relevant technical training; prior dairy industry maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associates degree or trade certificate in a related field is preferred.
• Prior maintenance experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, OSHA is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment (motors, conveyors, production machines).
• Operate boilers and ammonia refrigeration systems safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems; perform repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors for parts, repairs, and system upgrades.
• Train and assist operators and peers in equipment maintenance and operation.
• Follow safety, food safety, and quality policies; maintain accurate records.
