Job summary

Saputo Inc. is seeking a production operator in Minnesota responsible for safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced plant. Responsibilities include GMP compliance, equipment startup, CIP cleaning, and daily data recording.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in food manufacturing or UHT processing preferred.
• Forklift experience or certification may be required.
• GMP, food safety, chemical safety and industrial safety knowledge.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math and data recording for production/quality information.
• Ability to complete written forms and digital entries accurately.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on long shifts.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety rules, GMP, HACCP, and MSS standards.
• Complete MSS tasks weekly and report safety concerns.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas; document data accurately.
• Receive liquid ingredients and operate yard tractor for tankers.
• Perform CIP on tanks and lines; ensure proper weighing of tankers.
• Report maintenance issues and deviations to supervision.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers, QA, and maintenance.
