Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. seeks a hands-on team member to perform housekeeping, material handling, sanitation, stock supplies, and collaborative tasks in our dairy facility in Las Cruces, NM.

You will follow GMPs, 5S, and safety protocols while supporting audits and cross-training. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1–2 years in food manufacturing, basic math and equipment understanding, and a willingness to obtain forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of demonstrated work experience in food manufacturing, dairy preferred.
• Advanced quality/food safety training and/or certifications is a plus, but not required.
• Working understanding of food manufacturing acronyms (SQF, HACCP, SOP, 5S, GMP).
• Strong math skills and ability to operate equipment controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping activities within schedules in the facility, including internal and external areas.
• Perform material handling, moving pallets, containers, materials with hand truck, pallet jack or forklift.
• Perform routine office and plant organization storage activities.
• Perform sanitation controls (garbage, waste, recycling) activities.
• Accurately complete housekeeping schedule and documents.
• Stock supplies in restrooms, breakrooms, conference rooms, and GMP stock locations.
