Job summary

Leprino Foods Company is seeking a Production Supervisor (Packaging) at our state-of-the-art Lubbock facility. You will lead the Packaging Department, supervise shifts, ensure product quality, and drive safe, efficient production with cross-functional collaboration.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with maintenance and quality teams, and promote continuous improvement while upholding food safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in food manufacturing with at least 1 year in a supervisory/lead role.
• Experience with processing/packaging systems, operations, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of hourly employees in the Packaging Department to ensure quality, safety, and production targets.
• Plan daily staffing to meet production goals while maintaining a safe, collaborative environment.
• Coach and develop team members through training and feedback.
• Foster a culture of trust and teamwork through clear communication and recognition.
• Supervise shift operations to meet productivity, yield, and product quality standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to ensure timely repairs and compliance.
