Leprino Foods Company is seeking a Milk Processing Supervisor in Lubbock, TX to lead a critical dairy operations team at a state-of-the-art facility. You will oversee milk receiving, pasteurization, standardization, and safety while coordinating with quality and maintenance to keep production efficient and compliant.

The role requires 5+ years in food manufacturing with leadership experience, SAP proficiency, and flexibility for weekends or overnight shifts. Strong coaching skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in food manufacturing with at least 1 year of leadership or mentoring experience.
• Working knowledge of processing or packaging systems and equipment operations, with troubleshooting skills.
• Strong computer proficiency and familiarity with SAP or similar manufacturing software.
• Ability to work weekends, swing shifts, and overnight shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of hourly employees overseeing milk receiving, pasteurization, and standardization to ensure quality and safety.
• Plan daily staffing to meet production needs while maintaining a safe, collaborative work environment.
• Oversee milk processing operations to meet safety, quality, yield, and production standards.
• Coach and develop team members through ongoing training and feedback.
• Foster trust and accountability, recognizing strong performance.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation across Raw and RTE areas, complying with standards.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and plant teams to troubleshoot issues.
• Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to manage inventories and equipment performance.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure proper training and equipment availability.
• Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
