Supervisor, Milk Receiving & Standardization

Location: Lubbock, TX, US, 79401

Leprino Foods is seeking a Milk Receiving and Standardization Supervisor to lead daily milk receiving, pasteurization, and standardization processes at our Lubbock, TX facility. You will create a healthy work environment, foster positive relationships, and drive teamwork.

Job Duties

• Lead a Key Operation: Own daily milk receiving and pasteurization/standardization operations, ensuring safety, quality, and production standards.
• Grow & Develop People: Build, coach, and lead a high‑performing team, providing training, recognition, and career growth opportunities.
• Champion Safety & Food Quality: Protect employees and consumers by driving plant safety programs and overseeing sanitation and food safety for raw and RTE areas.
• Collaborate & Innovate: Partner with internal teams and external suppliers to optimize milk inventories, chemical distribution, and equipment performance.
• Drive Impact & Improvement: Influence efficiency, cost savings, and quality advancements while helping the plant achieve production and financial goals.

You Must Have (Required Qualifications)

• College degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a food manufacturing environment; additional education may substitute experience.
• 1+ year of experience leading, mentoring, or delegating work to others.
• Proficient computer knowledge and ability to learn SAP or other manufacturing systems.

• Dairy or cheese manufacturing experience.
• 1+ year of prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
