Job summary

Gossner Foods is hiring a Mixing Operator in Logan, UT to operate equipment in the Mixing Department, batch and standardize products, and complete quality and production documentation.

Ideal candidates are dependable, safety‑minded, and able to work well in a fast-paced dairy environment. Training will be provided and the role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to GMP and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Must be able to perform physical duties associated with working in a manufacturing environment.
• Candidates must successfully complete required pre-employment background check, drug screening, and physical fitness testing.
• Job-specific training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor all equipment within the Mixing Department.
• Prepare, batch, and standardize products according to production specifications.
• Accurately complete required production, batching, and quality documentation.
• Perform manual equipment cleaning and automated Clean-in-Place (CIP) procedures.
• Obtain raw milk samples for quality testing.
• Weigh and prepare ingredients for batches under the direction of the Assistant Supervisor.
• Monitor equipment and product conditions and report abnormalities or concerns.
• Follow all food safety, GMP, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with training new employees on Mixing Department procedures and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist other team members as needed to support production.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
