Job summary

Gossner Foods Inc. is seeking a Mixing Operator for the Logan, UT area to operate the Mixing Department equipment, batch, and standardize products according to specifications.

You will complete production and quality documentation, perform CIP cleaning, and prepare raw milk samples for quality testing, supporting a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates are dependable, safety-focused, and able to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be dependable and able to maintain consistent attendance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
• Must be able to perform physical duties associated with working in a manufacturing environment.
• Candidates must successfully complete required pre-employment background check, drug screening, and physical fitness testing.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor all equipment within the Mixing Department.
• Prepare, batch, and standardize products according to production specifications.
• Accurately complete required production, batching, and quality documentation.
• Perform manual equipment cleaning and automated Clean-in-Place (CIP) procedures.
• Obtain raw milk samples for quality testing.
• Weigh and prepare ingredients for batches under the direction of the Assistant Supervisor.
• Monitor equipment and product conditions and report abnormalities or concerns.
• Follow all food safety, GMP, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Assist with training new employees on Mixing Department procedures and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist other team members as needed to support production.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
