Hilmar Cheese Company, Inc. is seeking a Liquid Processing Operator to ensure product quality while operating IX/RO, the primary evaporator, and RO water polisher units in production and CIP. You will maintain thorough paperwork and follow GMPs to uphold sanitation and safety standards.

The role requires basic computer skills, the ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and 12-hour variable shifts including weekends and overtime. Prior SAP and dairy manufacturing experience are a plus.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in dairy manufacturing preferred.
• Active or past member of departmental safety team is a plus.

Mansioni

• Operate, monitor and manage IX columns, evaporators, RO units, crystallizers and related equipment including CIP.
• Maintain accurate and complete paperwork.
• Follow GMP and sanitation policies related to CIP, COP and clean up.
• Maintain and monitor quality programs per Hilmar Cheese & Ingredient standards.
• Complete in-process testing.
• Communicate effectively with team to achieve department goals.
• May relieve operators for breaks and lunch periods as needed.
• Perform master sanitation program duties as assigned.
• Participate in GMP audits, safety audits and related activities as required.
