Job summary

Hilmar Cheese Company is seeking a Tower Operator to run and maintain cheese towers and related equipment in a high‑volume dairy facility. You will manage production flows, perform in‑process sampling, and ensure adherence to safety, food safety, and quality policies.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, SAP experience, and dairy manufacturing familiarity. Candidates must be able to work 12‑hour variable shifts, lift up to 60 lbs, and speak proficient English.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Dairy manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Cheese towers and related equipment as assigned.
• Identify flows from HCVs to packaging and complete Product Transitions.
• Troubleshoot plant issues with equipment and processes and communicate findings to maintenance.
• Maintain operation and sanitation of all equipment including CIP and COP systems.
• Perform in-process sampling and report any safety or quality issues to leadership.
• Learn and operate computer-related processes and controls.
• Ensure proper product handling and follow reforming procedures.
• Participate in training and development, including buddy training.
