Job summary

Lehigh Valley Dairy is seeking a Lab Technician to support quality control testing and QA efforts. You will set up samples, test products at various production stages, and analyze data to ensure quality and safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred post-secondary education in food/biological sciences and 1+ year of related experience. Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required with pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Post-secondary education related to food science, biological science or related sciences preferred.
• 1+ year of food manufacturing, laboratory, food testing, quality assurance and/or related work exp.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control testing on products, setting samples and supporting QA programs.
• Test and inspect products at various stages of the batching and production process.
• Compile and evaluate data to ensure quality and reliability of products.
• Use gauges and other devices to verify conformity to standards.
• Maintain high food safety and quality standards in production and distribution.
