Upstate Niagara Cooperative, Batavia Plant in Batavia, NY, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform microbiological, chemical and physical testing of raw materials, work in process and finished goods. The role includes documenting test results daily and ensuring quality data is accurately recorded.

Requirements include an associates degree in Chemistry or Biology (or 4 years of lab experience), knowledge of GMPs, and ability to obtain NY licenses for Direct Microscopic Count, Drug Residue,

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Preferred but not required, Associates degree in Chemistry or Biology or 4 years pervious lab experience.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and SPC Plating.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the following licenses with the New York State Department of Agriculture: Direct Microscopic Count, Drug Residue (Charm SL) and Milk Receiver.
