Job summary

Harris Teeter in Darnestown, Maryland is seeking a Full-Time Dairy Frozen Management Assistant to help supervise up to 10 associates and assist the Department Manager with overall direction, coordination, and evaluation.

You will perform floor monitoring, training, scheduling, and ensure high standards for stocking, customer service, and product knowledge in a fast-paced Dairy/Frozen environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and team collaboration.
• Ability to read/write English and present information clearly.
• Completion of company training in food safety, customer service, and related topics.

Responsibilities

• Assist to manage and supervise up to 10 associates in the Dairy/Frozen Department.
• Support the Department Manager with direction, coordination and evaluation.
• Perform floor monitoring, interviewing and training of associates; plan and direct work.
• Ensure proper stocking, merchandising, and customer service within standards.
