Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Dairy & Freezer Clerk to maintain dairy and freezer sections, ensuring proper stocking, rotation, and product integrity. You will support merchandising, inventory management, and food safety compliance while delivering excellent member service.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in dairy, freezer, grocery, or retail operations.
• Basic knowledge of cold chain management, food safety standards, and product handling.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Email).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure planogram integrity in dairy and freezer by stocking per standards.
• Maintain cold chain and in-stock accuracy to ensure freshness.
• Apply FIFO rotation to reduce waste and preserve quality.
• Conduct quality and date checks and remove expired items.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation compliance across areas.
• Support product availability with replenishment efforts.
• Ensure accurate signage and pricing for clarity at checkout.
• Support seasonal merchandising and transitions.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned and maintain attendance.
