BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is hiring a Dairy & Freezer Clerk to stock dairy and freezer sections, manage inventory, and uphold food safety standards. You will support merchandising, ensure product integrity, and help maintain department organization for a seamless member experience.

The role emphasizes accurate rotation, temperature control, and adherence to safety protocols while contributing to a high-performing perishables team. Weekend and early shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in dairy, freezer, grocery, or retail operations preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cold chain management, food safety standards, and product handling requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Email) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock all dairy and freezer products according to planograms to maintain visual standards.
• Maintain cold chain and in-stock accuracy by monitoring temperature and replenishing items.
• Apply FIFO rotation to reduce waste and maintain product quality.
• Regularly inspect products for expiration dates and condition to uphold safety standards.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards and clean equipment and shelving.
• Monitor in-stock levels and assist with replenishment for a full, shoppable department.
• Ensure signage and pricing are accurate to avoid confusion and support checkout.
• Assist with seasonal merchandising and adhere to company policies and procedures.
