Job summary

Kovalus Separation Solutions, Inc. seeks a Process Engineer II to design, analyze, optimize, and support food and dairy processing systems. You will work on membrane filtration projects from concept to startup, collaborating with customers, sales, project management, automation, manufacturing, and field teams.

The role focuses on mass/energy balances, PFDs/P&IDs, and hands-on project execution, including FATs and commissioning, with ~35% travel potential domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in dairy processing, chemical, mechanical, bio-systems or similar.
• 4+ years in sanitary dairy process industry with membrane filtration or liquid processing knowledge.
• Familiarity with 3-A, ASME, USDA standards.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data to support optimization of customer process lines.
• Support quotations with technical input, equipment sizing, high level PFDs and P&IDs.
• Prepare FATs and automate handover with automation team.
• Assist sales with on-site/remote customer meetings.
