Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America seeks a field service professional to provide regular contact to Western Area farmer-owners in the Central Valley. You will help maintain and grow milk supply while ensuring Grade A and IMS-approved status through technical guidance and program participation.

Responsibilities include advising on production practices, collaborating with regulators and haulers, and promoting DFA Farm programs to strengthen member relationships across the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in agriculture, agribusiness, dairy science or related field.
• 2–5 years of directly related job experience; dairy farm experience is a plus.
• Milk production knowledge and ability to improve quality.
• Strong written and verbal communication; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide services, information and assistance to members to produce high quality milk.
• Monitor milk quality and advise on improving premiums and Grade A compliance.
• Coordinate with Field Supervisor and staff on area developments.
• Engage with regulators, haulers and DFA staff to enhance service and relationships.
• Promote FARM and DFA Gold Standard programs to members.
