Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America is seeking a Field Representative I for the Central Valley (Modesto, CA). You will provide direct service to Western Area farmer-owners, promote high-quality milk, and help maintain IMS and Grade A status while growing the member milk supply.

You will monitor quality results, advise on improvement practices, and collaborate with regulators, haulers, and DFA staff to strengthen member relationships and program participation.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.
• Good problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of people in business and social settings.
• Strong customer service attitude/focus and a sincere desire to help dairy producers succeed.
• Basic to intermediate skill with desktop computers and MS Office software applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide services and assistance to members to help produce high-quality milk.
• Monitor milk quality and provide technical advice to improve premiums and standards.
• Inform Field Supervisor of unresolved quality issues.
• Work with regulatory agencies to maintain Grade A/IMS status.
• Develop relationships with milk haulers and DFA transportation staff to improve service.
