Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. (DFA) is seeking a Liaison-based remote role to support DFA members in the Southeast United States (NC, SC, GA, FL).

You will help dairy farmer-owners access programs, stay informed on dairy policy, pricing, government actions, and industry developments, and promote DFA locally. Responsibilities include field visits, inspections support, identifying and onboarding new members, maintaining producer lists, monitoring milk quality, advising on production practices,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agri‑business, Dairy/Food Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in the dairy industry.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to travel extensively and reside within Southeast geography.

Responsabilités

• Provide DFA members with services to produce high-quality milk and stay informed on industry developments.
• Perform routine farm visits to support passing safety inspections.
• Identify non-members and introduce them to DFA programs and benefits.
• Maintain producer prospect lists and conduct regular calls.
• Monitor milk quality and provide technical advice to members.
• Advise on best production practices to improve output and efficiency.
• Be on-call for after-hours and travel frequently.
• Coordinate with milk haulers and ensure regulatory compliance.
