Job summary

Rise Baking Company in Atlanta, GA is seeking a strategic sourcing leader to drive egg and dairy commodity sourcing, negotiate contracts, and implement cost-saving programs across our supplier base.

You will lead supplier evaluations, develop commodity strategies, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with cross-functional teams to meet production needs in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in purchasing, supply chain, business or materials management
• 7+ years of experience in sourcing, supply chain or operational leadership for commodity-based raw materials; Dairy/Egg experience preferred
• Strong leadership capability and food manufacturing familiarity preferred
• Advanced Excel and ERP experience (Great Plains, SAP) and manufacturing modules (MRP/MPS/WMS)
• Analytical mindset with ability to communicate across levels and manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and alignment of sourcing strategies for egg and dairy commodities
• Research and negotiate best price, quality, and service for dairy and egg materials
• Establish commodity risk mitigation strategies for materials, delivery, and supplier relations
• Oversee contracts and negotiations with suppliers; coach others to do the same
• Set and deliver budgeted plans for select commodity materials; monitor performance
