Job summary

Rise Baking Company in Tucker, GA invites a Sourcing Manager for Dairy & Egg to lead and optimize supplier partnerships, negotiate contracts, and manage spend analysis for key dairy and egg commodities. You will develop long-term commodity strategies, drive cost-saving initiatives, and ensure compliance with quality standards across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in purchasing, supply chain, business or materials management or 7+ years experience.
• 4+ years in sourcing, supply chain, or leadership for commodity raw materials; Dairy/Egg experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and food manufacturing knowledge.
• Experience with ERP systems and MS Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with MRP, MPS and WMS modules.
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills; effective communicator.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and alignment of sourcing strategies for egg and dairy commodities.
• Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships; coach others.
• Set budgeted plans for commodity materials and monitor performance.
• Assess supplier capabilities and explore new technologies and markets.
• Drive cost-saving programs and improve payment terms and lead times.
• Ensure purchasing procedures are standardized and followed.
• Monitor supplier compliance with contracts and quality standards.
• Support cross-functional supply chain analysis and initiatives.
• Collaborate on food safety, quality, and legality of products.
