Job summary

Collaborate with plant maintenance, engineering, quality, and finance to standardize specs, optimize demand, and ensure regulatory compliance across sites. Travel to plants is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, IT or related field.
• 5–8+ years of strategic sourcing/category management experience across multiple categories.
• Manufacturing, food, or CPG multi-site experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation, contracting, and supplier management skills; SaaS/software licensing terms.
• Proficiency with ERP/P2P (SAP preferred), advanced Excel, and data visualization (Power BI helpful).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi-year category strategies for MRO, facilities, IT, and professional services.
• Lead RFx events, bids and negotiations; deliver measurable savings and cost avoidance.
• Manage supplier relationships, renewals, and performance scorecards; track contract expirations.
• Collaborate with operations, IT, HR, Marketing, Finance, and Legal to align sourcing with risk and compliance.
• Reduce maverick spend and drive adoption of preferred suppliers and catalogs.
• Monitor spend analytics and should-cost methods to optimize categories.
