Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Dairy Manager to lead the Dairy Department, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise clerks, manage inventory, and coach team members while working with the Store Manager on hiring and promotions. This role requires strong leadership and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' retail grocery experience.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals.
• Outgoing, friendly attitude toward team and customers.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.
• Adhere to safety, health, and regulatory requirements including a Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Direct clerks in the department while overseeing presentation and sanitation standards of the Dairy Department, on the sales floor and backroom cooler.
• Process and stock products according to Sprouts dairy standards.
• Deliver outstanding customer service.
• Provide overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Dairy Department.
• Control inventory to recommended stock levels by using proper ordering techniques to maximize sales and minimize stock loss.
• Ensure proper rotation of products to maintain freshness; remove out-of-code items.
• Adjust price changes within the department.
• Lead and coach team members; participate in performance reviews and development discussions.
• Attend and participate in in-store meetings.
• Recruit, hire and promote/transfer decisions with the Store Manager.
