Qualifications

• Experience in grocery, dairy, or perishable dept preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation and proper storage.
• Understanding of inventory control, shrink management and merchandising standards.
• Familiarity with natural/organic products and dietary considerations preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with ownership and accountability.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily dairy department operations to ensure efficient workflows.
• Execute procedures for stocking, rotation, pricing, signage, and inventory control.
• Ensure all dairy products meet Earth Fare quality standards and proper dating.
• Maintain rotation, dating, and storage practices to ensure freshness and safety.
• Maintain accurate merchandising, fully stocked shelves, and clear labeling.
• Support sales, gross profit, and shrink goals through effective inventory management.
• Provide knowledgeable customer service about dairy products and dietary needs.
