You will manage inventory, scheduling, and daily operations to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and presentation of ready-to-eat items.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, food-safety knowledge, and the ability to drive departmental goals in a fast-paced grocery environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food service trends and food safety practices.
• Experience managing shrink, sales, gross profit, and department overhead.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn Falcon hand-held scanner.
• Leadership experience managing a team of 10+ people.
• OSHA ServSafe Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of deli clerks and cooks in the Prepared Foods department.
• Oversee production and presentation of ready-to-eat items and ensure safety and quality.
• Schedule team members and manage inventory to meet department goals.
• Review daily/weekly sales and shrink reports and respond accordingly.
• Maintain cleanliness and high standards of sanitation and organization.
