Job summary

Tate & Lyle is seeking a Technical Service Dairy Application Scientist to support the NOAM Dairy Technical Service team. This role executes lab and pilot plant projects for customers and drives knowledge growth within the Dairy Tech Service group.

Candidates should have a technical background in dairy science, lab experience, and strong problem-solving, communication, and project-management skills. Remote collaboration with technical staff is common, with opportunities to lead experiments and

Qualifications

Master’s degree or BS with 2+ years in related field.
Experience writing technical summaries, reports, and presentations.
Knowledge of dairy science, dairy products formulation and processing.
Ability to deliver results in ambiguous situations.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Remote Technical Account Managers to understand project objectives.
Design and execute projects to expand Dairy team knowledge and products.
Plan and run experiments in a scientific, statistical manner.
Operate pilot plant equipment and processing procedures.
Translate data into clear conclusions and recommendations.
Deliver technical presentations to customers or internal teams.
Support NOAM Dairy Technical Service team as needed.
