Symrise AG in the United States (New Jersey) seeks a Dairy Scientist to drive ingredient application development and provide technical expertise for dairy and adjacent categories. You will demonstrate the value of our portfolio in real-world applications while collaborating with account teams and customers to deliver practical solutions.
The role requires hands-on leadership, ability to balance priorities, and strong dairy formulation know-how.
Formación
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Food Science, Dairy Science, Chemistry, or related field
- 3-8+ years of experience in dairy or food applications/product development
- Technical knowledge of ingredient functionality and processing equipment used in the dairy industry
Responsabilidades
- Lead and optimize dairy formulations to showcase ingredient performance
- Translate functionality into scalable dairy solutions for customers
- Support customer projects with innovation, troubleshooting, and reformulation
- Provide technical recommendations on formulation, processing, and shelf-life
- Document application data, protocols, and technical insights
- Stay current on market trends and translate into opportunities
- Travel to customers as needed and host visitors
