Job summary

Morgan Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Johnston, RI is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to join our dedicated team. This part-time role supports safe medication administration and resident care across shifts, with an all-inclusive hourly rate of $20–$23 and daily pay options.

You will administer medications per orders, observe for reactions, document changes, and collaborate with nursing staff to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Valid state Medication Technician/Aide Certification.
• CNA or CHHA/HHA certification required as applicable.
• Previous Certified Medication Technician (CMT) experience preferred.
• Experience with oral, topical, optic, ophthalmic meds and subcutaneous injections.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow clinical instructions precisely.
• Ability to work with multiple residents in a fast-paced team setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately per physician orders and policies.
• Provide meds via oral, topical, optic, ophthalmic and subcutaneous routes as allowed.
• Observe for medication responses; document and report changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with basic resident care under licensed staff supervision.
• Ensure proper storage, security, and accountability of medications.
• Maintain timely documentation of medication administration and care activities.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to promote resident-centered care.
