Job summary

MC Community Services in Maine is hiring Daily Living Support Workers to join our Section 17 adult services team, providing in-home and community support to adults living with serious mental illness. You will assist with daily routines, meal prep, budgeting, and transportation, documenting care and coordinating with the care team; MHRT-1 training available.

Starting pay is $20–$21 per hour with paid MHRT-1 training, a seasonal bonus program, PTO, retirement savings through MERIT, and other

Qualifications

• Patience, reliability, and genuine interest in helping people.
• Comfort working in clients' homes — this isn’t an office job.
• Must be 18+ and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• MHRT-1 certification is a plus, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Working one-on-one with adults in homes and communities.
• Support daily living skills: cooking, cleaning, hygiene, scheduling, budgeting.
• Help clients stay connected to community and build independence.
• Provide consistent, reliable presence for stability.
• Document work and communicate with the care team.
