We are seeking an experienced D365 Business Central Systems Manager to take ownership of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and its supporting applications across our growing manufacturing organization. This is a key role responsible for ensuring Business Central continues to support the organization’s operational, financial, and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the D365 Business Central platform, including configuration, security, workflows, integrations, enhancements, and ongoing support.
- Act as the Business Central SME, partnering with leadership and business teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimisation.
- Lead system improvements, upgrades, integrations, data initiatives, and future implementations across the Business Central environment.
- Manage testing, data quality, documentation, training, and user adoption, ensuring the system is used effectively across the business.
- Work closely with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and external partners to translate business requirements into effective technology solutions.
- Oversee the wider ERP application and data landscape, ensuring Business Central integrates effectively with reporting, BI, and other business-critical systems.
- Establish appropriate system governance, security, controls, and support processes to maintain a stable and scalable ERP environment.
- Provide guidance and leadership to internal teams and third-party partners, managing priorities and ensuring successful delivery of system initiatives.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing D365 Business Central, Dynamics NAV, or a similar enterprise ERP platform.
- Strong understanding of financial, supply chain, inventory, purchasing, sales, and operational processes; manufacturing experience is advantageous.
- Experience with ERP integrations, data migration, reporting, Power BI, SQL, and wider business systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience managing third-party vendors, implementation partners, and system development resources.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement, system optimisation, and technology strategy.
