Job description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across both Supply Chain and Finance domains. Ideal candidates bring a strong understanding of operational and/or financial processes—whether from a background in accounting, operations, logistics, procurement, or a combination of all of the above. In this role, you’ll work closely with clients to analyze business needs and design practical, scalable ERP solutions. You’ll lead engagements from requirements gathering through post-go-live support, serving as a trusted advisor across both the financial and operational sides of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the functional design and implementation of Business Central solutions spanning both supply chain and financial modules, aligning configurations with client business processes.
• Conduct comprehensive requirements gathering, gap analysis, and documentation of functional specifications across operational and financial workflows.
• Translate inventory, purchasing, warehouse, manufacturing, GL, AP, AR, and fixed asset needs into effective ERP configurations and reporting structures.
• Serve as a subject matter expert across both functional domains, advising clients on best practices and system design for integrated end-to-end processes.
• Facilitate user training at all levels of the organization, tailoring content for both finance and operations end users.
• Conduct and support user acceptance testing, conference room pilots, and system go-live preparation.
• Provide hands-on support with data migration, validation, and post-implementation troubleshooting.
• Partner with technical consultants and developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience implementing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Strong expertise in Business Central Supply Chain modules (Inventory Management, Purchasing, Sales Order Management, Warehouse Management, Manufacturing).
• Strong expertise in Business Central Finance modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management).
• Experience with both NAV and Business Central across multiple versions.
• Exposure to Power BI, Power Automate, or other Microsoft ecosystem tools.
• Ability to bridge financial and operational processes, understanding how supply chain transactions flow through to the general ledger.
• Prior industry background in accounting, operations, logistics, or procurement preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading full lifecycle implementations, including requirements gathering, design, testing, training, and go-live.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills; able to clearly translate business needs across functional domains.
