Responsibilities

• Assist pathologists by providing clinical data and microscopic findings.
• Mounts, stains, and examines smears under a microscope and evaluates specimen quality.
• Maintain laboratory safety and standards for specimen handling.
• Classify abnormal cells and report findings to pathologists.
• Document data into the hospital system for patient records.
• Monitor supplies and place orders for replacements as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
