Job summary

You will perform complex laboratory tests following established protocols. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in science, completion of a Cytotechnology program, and Cytotechnologist certification (CT), with three years of clinical lab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or medical laboratory sciences required.
• Completion of Cytotechnology program required.
• Cytotechnologist CT certification required (ASCP preferred).
• Three years of Clinical Lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide data or microscopic findings to assist pathologists in reports.
• Mount, stain, and examine smears under microscope to evaluate quality.
• Maintain laboratory operations and safety standards.
• Classify abnormal cell structures and report to pathologists.
• Document data into hospital system and manage supplies inventory.
• Other duties as assigned.
