Job summary

Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, CA is seeking a Cytotechnologist to join the Pathology Lab Services team. The role focuses on detecting malignancy and other pathologic conditions through microscopic examination of cellular specimens, with responsibility to prepare samples and ensure CLIA compliance.

This regular part-time, day-shift position requires graduate of an accredited School of Cytotechnology and at least two years hospital experience, plus active CT certification (ASCP) and CDPH

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Cytotechnology.
• Two years of hospital experience preferred.
• Current CT certification (ASCP).
• Cytotechnologist license (CDPH).

Responsibilities

• Detects evidence of malignancy and other pathologic conditions by collection, preparation and microscopic examination of cellular specimens.
• Meets CLIA criteria for Cytotechnologist.
• Shift flexibility required.
