Job summary

Qualifications

• One year experience in an anatomic pathology laboratory preferred.
• Current Histology Technician (HT) Certification issued by American Society for Clinical Pathology Board (ASCP)

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of standardized preparations and staining techniques of tissue sections from surgical or autopsy material for microscopic study and interpretation by the pathologist.
• Works with minimal supervision and is involved with coordination of workflow and instruction of other employees.
• This position may require flexibility of hours.
