Qualifications

• Alternative qualifying history: two years in an approved program or equivalent with relevant cytotechnology training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare slides of human cell samples and prioritize specimen preparation.
• Process and examine specimens under a microscope to identify malignant or related abnormalities.
• Report laboratory results using cytotechnology terminology per protocols.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in specimen collection and processing.
