Are you a certified Cytotechnologist? Are you in school pursuing a Cytotechnologist degree/certification? If so, Labcorp wants to speak with you about exciting opportunities to join our team as a full-time Cytotechnologist in Raritan, NJ. This will be a fast-paced, customer-focused, and challenging environment. Labcorp offers a comprehensive benefits package and competitive compensation.

Schedule: Monday - Friday (between 6:00am and 7:00pm) & every 3rd Saturday

Benefits: Employees scheduled to work 20+ hours per week are eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO or FTO, Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Job Responsibilities:

• Screen and evaluate gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens for malignant or abnormal conditions
• Screen liquid-based cytology (manual, imaged) and conventional slides
• Perform microscopic evaluation following lab procedures
• Document workload, screening activities as per CLIA and lab guidelines
• Maintain accuracy and integrity in reporting results
• Meet slide screening requirements per SOP
• Finalize testing results accurately and promptly
• Provide backup for cytology processing as needed
• Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA policies

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of an accredited Cytology program
• ASCP Cytotechnologist (CT) Certification
• Experience in Cytology preferred
• ThinPrep and SurePath certifications a plus
• Pass slide screening and CAP proficiency tests
• Understanding of Cyto preparation techniques
• Experience with automated/non-automated testing preferred
• Familiarity with LIS systems
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to pass color vision screening
