Job description

NEW Cytotech OR Cytotechnologist opening at a full service clinical and anatomic pathology laboratory located on Long Island! This laboratory is fully accredited by The College of American Pathologists (CAP), New York State Department of Health, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CLIA), and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Position Details

This laboratory is looking to hire a permanent and full-time Cytotechnologist on the Day Shift (6am or 7am start time). The cytotech will be responsible for screening and diagnosing gynecological and non-gynecological slides.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Cytotechnology or completion of an accredited Cytology program
• CT ASCP Certification or equivalent

Preferred:

• 2 years of previous cytology experience
