Growing Laboratory Hiring Cytotechnologist

• Days or Nights
• This individual is responsible for screening and diagnosing gynecological and non-gynecological slides while working under the supervision of the pathologists and supervisor, following their technical direction. Activities include accessioning, staining, microscopic screening, and filing of cytology slides and requisitions. The cytotechnologist will report results of all tests performed according to established procedures. Additionally, they will participate fully in all cytology quality control procedures and comply with quality assurance and quality management standards as outlined by the department, JCAHO, CAP, CLIA, and other applicable agencies. Troubleshooting technical procedures within the department and making recommendations for solutions are also part of the role.
