Memorial Hermann TMC campus seeks a Cytology Tech to join our team on day shift. Schedule is 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Weekdays. The position is responsible for the preparation and accurate evaluation of specimens for microscopic examination and for assisting pathologists in fine needle aspirations. Responsibilities include performing cytologic tests with quality control, managing daily lab operations, processing cytology specimens, reporting results, and supporting education and safety standards

Competenze

• CT (ASCP) registry or eligibility with registry within 1 year of employment.

Mansioni

• Performs and evaluates cytologic test results with quality control.
• Assists in fine needle aspiration procedures and cytology specimen processing.
• Reports results and supports efficient workflow and safety standards.
• Maintains instruments and communicates special circumstances to staff.
