Responsibilities

• Tracks specimens and ensures correct ordering and collection.
• Performs specimen preparation including centrifugation and staining.
• Maintains laboratory safety and quality control procedures.
• Assists with on-site Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA) procedures under Pathologist direction.
• Maintains inventory and monitors instrument performance and maintenance.
• Provides accurate test order entry and distributes reports to physicians.
